A scent detection canine is an extremely accurate and useful tool. However, unlike most tools, the dog cannot be stored away somewhere and brought out as needed. The nature of dogs is that they are pack animals, part of a team, and it is important that your canine works as part of its team every day. For some, this daily commitment may be more than you are willing or able to invest. If however, you are able to make this commitment, you will find your K9 team to be one of the most effective and important tools in your agency or business.

We offer K9 Team and canine tune up training

Just like your car, you and your dog will eventually need a "tune up". Handlers can unknowingly develop bad habits that negatively affect the team's performance. The trainers at FSI K9 are experienced at observing a K9 team work and identifying problem areas that may seem small at the time, but that could lead to big issues in the future. FSI K9 has helped hundreds of scent detection K9 teams over the years to reach their full potential and no matter who trained your canine, we can help you too. Our training program will help you and your canine to correct these habits and get you back to searching effectively and efficiently. We recommend that you participate in such training annually. You can choose to send your team(s) to our facility in Vincent, AL, or we can come to your facility*. We offer training at a daily or weekly rate.

Is your canine in need of additional training? You can send your canine to our facility and we will work with it to bring it up to its full potential as a scent detection canine. Pricing for tune up training will include the cost of boarding and lesson fees.**
